Looking for forums, and websites for reference on Hospital, Office, Facility, etc Billing Rules, Procedures to properly bill Health Insurance Companies? Also a list of CPT Codes, with descriptions? A nice forum with informative answers and questions on what Rev Codes, Modifiers, CPT or HCPS codes are used, what changes are made, how different States and Insurance Companies follow different guidelines, etc? Thanks for any help at all. Have a great day.

The AAPC forum is very helpful. That is where I get most of my help and answers

As far as CPT code descriptions, they are in the CPT code books.

When it comes to state guidelines, you need to check out your local medicare carrier, as most insurances take their cues from them. They will also have updates and changes posted on their website.

If you are having a problem with a particular insurance company, you can contact them directly to find out their guidelines.

As a rule all CPT codes should be the same from state to state. But you will need to buy a book every year which will list revised and also outdated CPT codes that could cause a snag is used.

good luck

Ask them to grant you with the signed place of work work authorizing them. Then take the comparable place as BCBS, that the two you in basic terms authorized needed therapy, or that on the grounds that they have been a sub-contractor to the unique lab, they could invoice them. on the grounds which you could't request laboratory paintings, in basic terms a physician can, and your scientific expert did no longer order this, then you certainly are no longer paying. be certain you keep a working communication with them, save copies of each and every thing you deliver them. they're going to finally deliver it to collections, then you certainly tell the sequence company which you have been in consistent communications with the lab and that they are billing you in errors. the sequence company will in basic terms be paid in the event that they are able to convey jointly, and no rely if it relatively is a valid declare. as quickly as you teach them your letters and BCBS denial, they won't settle for the declare. sturdy luck, it is going to likely be an uphill conflict, yet you could win.
