I bought this sentry fire safe at an estate sale, the owner passed away so they were selling everything. It was a great deal and I bought it even though nobody knows the combination. Im hoping I can call Sentry Safe customer service and do the thing where they can give me the factory code. See Im not really sure whats in the safe, but they said it was nothing important, what would I do with the stuff? I plan to just toss it. Any advice?

The reason they sold is it because the owner is dead, and the family doesnt want it, and they just want to make money. obviously if there is even anything in it, then its not important. Maybe the family knows what was in it, they are not the ones selling it. The people at the estate sale are just trying to sell whatever they can, its kinda like a garage sale.

This could be a good deal if I could get it open. If I cant maybe someone else will want it. One mans trash is anothers treasure

I purchased my gift auto (a Mercedes) from the loved ones of its deceased proprietor. When I went to view the auto it was once visible from the situation of the auto, and the landlord's workshop, that he'd been a fanatical auto fanatic. Anyway, I purchased the auto (changing my prior MB) and feature been going for walks it for two years. It nonetheless runs like new and I safeguard it in the best way wherein I am certain the prior proprietor might approve. I thankful that he cared for it so good whilst he was once alive. So pass forward and purchase!

This is completely not a problem. You'll have to contact Sentry, you'll have to sign a form and have it notarized, and include the serial number, pay a small fee, and they'll mail the combo to you.

You can do whatever you want with the stuff in it.

if you get the serial number and call the manufactor they can give you the code with proper paperwork verifing that the owner is deceased

why the hell would you buy a safe not knowing the code? I highly doubt they'll give you the code, otherwise what's to stop me for calling for the code to my neighbor's safe? oh and by the way; calling a locksmith should have been your first thought

hmmmm... this story sounds unlikely. Why would the estate agents part with a safe whose contents are unknown? Methinks you fib.
